Q & A Time

Picture of Q & A Time

Welcome to the section with

answers to all your burning questions!

Will there be food?

Yes! More information in RSVP!

Will there be drinks?🥂

Yes! Immediately after the ceremony!

Will there be Childcare?

No, childcare will not be provided during any events leading up to or during the wedding day. We kindly ask our guests arrange childcare, prior to joining us in our wedding celebrations!

Can I bring a guest?

No, not unless they are named on your invitation. This is because the Bride and Groom, specifically and meticulously selected each guest we chose to invite based on our individual relationships. In doing so, we did not anticipate inviting +1s. We did, however, make every effort to include your spouse and/or longtime partner; if we knew of them at the time you were invited. Thank you for your patience and understanding of our preference to celebrate our wedding with guests we have individual relationships with. We want to spend our special day with people we invited, only.

Is anyone allowed to wear pinks and reds or is that just for family of the couple??

Anyone may wear these color shades. However, in Nigerian culture family tends to color coordinate at weddings. On that note: for all who want to join in on color coordination: the Groom’s favorite color is Red and Bride’s is Pink!

Can I wear Nigerian Formal Attire even if I am not Nigerian?

Of course, you may! Look at our visuals for outfit inspiration in the “Dress Code” section of the website or google “Nigerian wedding guest attire” to guide your styling options!

Can I wear white or a similar shade?

No.... We hired the slime people who handled Nickelodeon's award shows and will point you out as someone needing to be drenched in the green. [This part is a joke]. However, please DO NOT wear white or any similar shade of white whatsoever.

Can I have my phone out during the ceremony?

Absolutely not. We kindly request everyone to place your phone in the Holding Bowl until after the ceremony is over. If seen with a phone out, you will be escorted to a more subtle location and have your phone smashed with a hammer. [This part is a joke]. However, please DO NOT have your phone our during the ceremony... You may use it any other time!

Can I smoke on the premises?

No. Cigarettes, vapes, runks, dab pens, joints, blunts, dilks, pipes, mooks, and wrops are not allowed to be inhaled while on the property. If you do, we The Bride & Groom will be fined, for your activity. We know where all of you live and will spend our honeymoon shadowing you around, yelling "shame shame" while clanging a loud bell in your direction.

What if someone does or says something I dislike? Am I allowed to fight them?

Unfortunately, no. That would dampen our day since we want to avoid having on-duty police appear at our wedding.

Are there hotels nearby?

Yes! Please look under the "Guest Lodging Options" section of the website!

What happens if we get nuked?

The wedding will still happen.
